According to Famitsu, a Japanese site where updates regarding games, anime and the like are being introduced, famous gaming companies shared their plans and insight for their market in the upcoming year.

Hideo Kojima, the guy who’s known for the Metal Gear series, said that the year 2017 will be the year for Death Stranding’s further development. Various fields are being considered to make the game be worth all the wait.
Yasunori Ichisei stated that the Monster Hunter Double Cross, or Cross, will be out next year. Knowing that Monster Hunter Generations, released this year, made a great debut in the West, Ichisei also looks forwards to the success of Cross in 2017. Konami wants to introduce their baseball themed games in the world of E-Sports. With E-Sports being popular nowadays, offering unique games to be played is worth it, the company said.
