FFBE Charlotte Review:
As a tank, we think Charlotte is a good unit. Let us first consider the things she can do.
First is "Cover". At level 12 (4*), she will have the ability to cover for allies. This is a very useful automatic skill especially during times when you can't have your support unit to cast some defense for you.
The next important tank ability is Royal Sentinel. You have 50% chance to protect an ally PLUS there is a 50% chance that the damage you get is reduced. Charlotte has huge HP, she can take damage just fine. But with Damage reduction at 50%, then the value goes up by two-fold. Let me remind you that this is better than Cecil, said to be the best tanker right now in Global. Cecil only has "Sentinel", which is 30% protect compared to Charlotte's 50%.
We should note though that at 6*, Cecil will have "Saintly Wall" at level 100 (75% protect with 50% Damage mitigation).
Should You Pull For Charlotte?
I think many of you will summon only for popular Final Fantasy characters. Which means, you will never hope that you summon Charlotte.
However, if you did summon Charlotte, then fret not. She's as good as Cecil and ranks well compared to other tankers in the global version of the game.
Also, in the future, Square Enix promises that Charlotte will have a 6-star version. I think that's reason enough for you to keep her on your team and continue levelling her up.
