PS Vita is a handheld video game system developed by Sony. Currently Sony is waiting for a patent for a new peripheral that will give the PS Vita R2 & L2 buttons in conjunction with Japanese company J-PlatPat.
A problem that irritated most PS Vita users was the fact that the Vita only had an L1 and R1 button. Unlike the PS controller which had R1, L1 and the R2 and L2 buttons. If you wanted to use the R2 and L2 buttons, you had to tap on the pad on the back of the Vita. This was very awkward and uncomfortable for many players who have been accustomed to the PS controller.
Sony heard the cries of many PS Vita players and decided to do something about it. This is not a third party peripheral (even though there are peripherals like this by other third parties). Sony itself is developing and selling a "Clip on Cover Equipped with R2 & L2 Buttons". Making it a lot more convenient and easy to use like the PS controller. With the help of Japanese company J-PlatPat, this peripheral will be available soon to many players.
The Planned Layout
So what do you think? Are you willing to buy the official sony cover with R2 & L2 buttons or will you still buy the third party cover?
